Which type of toothbrush should I use?

As long as you are using a soft toothbrush with a small head, the brand of the toothbrush does not matter. It’s very important not to “scrub” your teeth, which can contribute to gum recession. It’s also very important that you get a professional dental cleaning at least twice a year to take off the buildup that you can’t get with your toothbrush.

How often should I floss?

At least once a day. Brushing and mouthrinses will NOT get rid of the plaque buildup in-between your teeth, so flossing is a MUST. Hence the saying “Floss the ones you want to keep.” Flossing also helps to keep your gums healthy.

Patients prefer the bridges over partial dentures, because a bridge is permanently attached to adjacent teeth, while a partial denture is attached by clasps to the teeth and comes in and out. An advantage of a partial denture would be that you can replace multiple teeth at once.

It depends. Wisdom teeth are very far back in the mouth, which is very hard to clean and may be more prone to decay and gum disease. Some wisdom teeth are “impacted,” meaning they fail to emerge through the gums, and they can sometimes get infection of the gums (pericoronitis) which are very painful and bad taste.
